Hello Property Enthusiasts,

Welcome to the first edition of our weekly newsletter – your fresh source of insights into the Irish residential property market!

For those new here, I am a Dublin-based property buying agent, dedicated to assisting busy ex-pats, business owners, C-suite executives, and high net worth individuals in sourcing and negotiating property in Ireland. After much deliberation, I've decided to share my passion for property and networking through this platform. The aim? To help you better navigate the fascinating, yet at times, labyrinthine world of Irish real estate.

Why another property newsletter, you ask? Well, I believe that my blend of industry insight, quirky humour, slick dress sense, and let’s not forget, my unabashed use of colourful language, will bring a uniquely genuine and entertaining perspective to your inbox. To quote Dr. Seuss, "those that mind don’t matter and those that matter don’t mind!"

Leila Hormozi, a business luminary I admire, recently said, "Fear is a mile wide and an inch deep." This resonates deeply with me and relates to what I want to focus on this week - fear and property discussions.

Many of us have felt a knot in our stomachs at the prospect of discussing a possible property move. Perhaps it could stir arguments with loved ones, or maybe the timing doesn't seem right. Even worse, some of us might be stuck in a cycle of inaction out of fear of the unknown or due to concerns for others. Sound familiar?

Here's my invitation: let's talk about it. While I'm not suggesting we form a property circle to sing "Kumbaya" (yes, I too had to look up the spelling), I urge you to initiate a dialogue about your property journey, be it in Ireland or abroad. Conversing about these concerns provides an opportunity to offload, reflect, and regroup, which is far better than delaying, ignoring, and ultimately making hasty decisions due to health issues, expiring mortgage approvals, and other life urgencies.

In this inaugural edition of our newsletter, I won’t delve into property stats or the state of the Irish Real Estate market. Instead, I encourage you to have open discussions about what your property journey entails.

And hey, if you've decided property isn't for you or you've recently made a purchase, feel free to pass this along to someone else who might find it helpful or entertaining.

Here's to clear skies and smooth sailing on your property journey, and remember, we're in this together!

Until next week,

Andrew
